Here we show you a few off road pictures from our way to Hillsborough State Park.

(one of the very few Bicycle Trails of Florida)

One of our evenings with playing cards and our non-battery lamp. (we are glad that you can not see the Whisky... Doh!)

You may wonder what do you got here. We travelled back in time to Fort Foster because we were riding so fast. Poor for us that we directly landed in a skirmish in jear 1855.
We had to learn how to fire a weapon to defend us against the indians.

This was quite before the skirmish. We were told to respect the Grounds and the actors.

The skirmish was loud, because they shoot this canon next to us.

Dont worry, we got back in our time as you will see in our next post!

Welcome to our Fairground Festival Experience!

Oh right, we move forward to Tampa. There we sattled down right on the other side of this festival ground in a Red Roof Inn.

In this picture you can see one of the entrances.

At the festival, there were lots of food and gaming locations. There also was a Doener shop where we of course ate one.

At the festival there were a cracker settlement, with so many things to do like farming, rope spinning and a lot of eyecatcher.

of course there was music also.

Back in the Red Roof Inn we take a picture with the wonderful reception girls. Greetings to you, see you in germany!

Hey we are not cast away (yet),
after passing about 1 Bazillion golf cards at Sun City...

... we rent a canoe in the Little Manatee River State Park. As you can see we have no problems on land.

After entering the canoe we drove on this high speed dangerous River for about 4 hours.

After discovering this sad boat we recognized that this is not a good alternative to ours.

do you see the Michelangelo(Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) on the tree relaxing couse there is no Shredder.

This is no advertising for Globetrotter GmbH, this is after we lost our canoe...

 ... in this lake.

Tadaaa, this is, proudly presented by Dodo, our Key for the Tent.

and as you can see, it works.

stay watching. :)

We finally got the pictures from the cd ready to upload them.

Okay, this was still in Maimi, we drove by bus from Miami Beach to Miami Downtown.
We tried to go to Naples with Hitchhiking. (This is not that easy like we thought).

Some Parts of our way we had to walk right next to Highways.

But we never stopped trying.

Here you can see Brandon with Dodo and his white Truck (The Bass was incredible of his Car). He is a very cool gas station owner who drives us to another gas station and also show us the way we have to take to get to Naples. Thank you so much again! Maybe we will see each other again! And sorry that we didn't made it to upload these pictures until today.

Okay this picture is very dark, sorry for that. But we hope that you can figure it out that this picture is made in the Cockpit of a big Truck with Frank and Pablo.
Frank let us out at Naples, but we still had to walk for a long time, until...

NAPLES!!

In Naples we bought our Bikes as you can see.

Hitchhiking is a very cool moving option, but we now know, that Hitchhikers have to take a shower in Luck to get a ride.

Greetings!

We are so sorry to keep you waiting for so long. But now here comes the explaination.

First of all shame to you all, you haven't been able to solve our quest. ^^ We were at the Myakka River State Park, one beautiful park with lot of animals and trees and swamps and great walking / cycling trails and cool rangers and hosts.

And now how we got to Sun City.

We drove back do Sarasota and tried to stay one night in the AmerikInn Hotel whitch unfortunally was full. Lucky us, we found another one a few miles (dont underestimate those creepy miles!) north at some place whitch is called University Place full of noble restaurants like McDonalds and KFC. The next day we are going north again to Siesta & Suites in Bradenton.
There we had a funny night at a lovely Bar.

Ah dont ask for names please!
This ladie was the barkeeper Carry and the guy is a hotel customer.

 and all because of...
 naja. :)

In the near of that hotel was a great market called:

Where you can buy ANYthing!
Hey this market was so huge! This was only one line of about 25. There was also an outdoor area... We spend several Hours at this market and still haven't seen everything.

After shopping at the Market we met Fee (Phi) who is a very nice and cool hotel receptionist. By the way: hey Fee!  We hope you are fine.

Now we were heading a few miles west to the Lake Manatee State Park.

(I made this face only because the Racoons who were not that friendly to my shoes just because of the garbage bag next to them)

(And here I made this Face because of our great Spoons we made out of a bough. But dont worry, I hope I can still look normal.)

This is the reason it took so long for updating the blog. Dodos Spokes at his Backwheel  brokes two times, the first time we got the chanche to fix it at an Wallmart for free just because of the fact that we were able to convince the Walmart Manager that this is very important for us.
The second time we got a ride to the 13 miles away Bicycle shop back in Bradenton.
After being stucked at the Lake Manatee for 3 days we were now able to move on to the Little Manatee River State Park.

On that way we saw these guys. That are Cows, not larger than our Bikes!! I dont know what was wrong with the grass they ate.

We passed that old Railroad...

... and this River.

Just to see this lovely Sunset.

And of course also because of our Chilie Soup.

We wonder if you can see this guy, who escaped our Voices to fast to get a clear shot with him.

And again something to eat... Wow. jummy.

Here you go! See ya next time!
